Louis Mancuso, Jr. Louis, Jr. came into the business full-time after teaching business and math for two years after college. When he graduated in 1969 from the University of Dayton in Ohio he had a teaching degree and a CFI rating. By 1974, Lou was president and sole stockholder of Mid Island. He concentrated on aircraft sales and in 1973-74, making his Piper dealership number one in the Northeast. Lou has reinvested in the business and increased the hangar capacity to over 140,000 square feet, accommodating a Gulfstream V. Back
